Took a short plane from Bangkok to Krabi and from Krabi airport I took a taxi to a pier where Amber and I waited for enough people to take a 10 minute long tail boat to Railey Beach.
The only way to Railey Beach is by long tail boat because its inbetween giant cliffs so there is no roads. (Long tail boates leave whenever 8 people have bought a ticket. Since it was taking 50 years I decided to just buy the rest of the tickets ($8 USD)
Getting on the long tail boat you have to walk in 2 feet of ocean water holding your luggage over your head.

Once you get on the beach you walk in the 2 feet of ocean water again with your luggage and have to pull your suitcases in the sand because there are no roads.
Luckily our room was not expensive and very nice.

Amber and I are both sick.
I called the front desk and asked them if they had a pharmacy nearby, they told me there was one in the nearby village.
I set off to find the medicine.

Our resort is great but we cannot leave it without taking an hour trip down the mountain in a minivan.

We took a quick ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan (300 baht per person) When we arrived we found a minibus for our resort we are staying at and quickly hopped in.
The drive was about 1 hour from the ferry docks up the mountain.

Our room is amazing.

I’ve been telling everyone when booking online in the special comments field on Expedia that it’s our honeymoon, in hopes that we might get some free upgrades. AFAIK we didn’t.

We originally planned to visit the Big Buddha and afterwards lay out on the nearby beach but the beach was nothing to write home about so we opt for checking out the Tesco Lotus Mall afterwards instead.

One of the tourist attractions on Koh Samui is the grandfather and grandmother rocks. I coulnd’t get a picture of the grandmother rock without breaking my head but heres a picture of the grandfather rock.
It’s suppose to resemble something..I don’t quite see it.

We spent the day at a hot springs the entry fee was 1500 baht per person and included a light snack and drinks. Each of the pools were made between Giant boulders. Inbetween 2 of the giant boulders they created a steam room.
Nice way to relax.

It’s amazingly what you can get for your money here compared to back home. All of this costed only 9,000 Baht (about $250 dollars) and it included pickup and drop off from our hotel which was a 30 minute drive.
At the end of it all they gave us hot tea, crackers and fresh fruit for free.
If we attempted to get this in Vegas it would cost way over $1,000

We didn’t do anything today.
One thing that really bugs me is when you’re walking down the opposite direction of a one way street and the taxi drivers or tuk tuks try to get you to come in their vehicle. I’m walking in the opposite direction they can drive why would I bother getting into the taxi?

There are two problems with Bar Ice. Firstly it’s not on the main strip and secondly if you don’t go in with people odds are you’re going to be standing in the freezer alone with the two bartenders.
