Unless youre a tourist nobody throws away their food in the fast food restaurants and if you do start walking your tray to the garbage a guy runs and grabs it and says thank you thank you. Leaving your tray is creating jobs.
Portions are also a lot smaller in Hong Kong, Medium = Small and Large = Medium. Which would explain why their aren’t that many fat people.
People walk very slow or I am walking very fast?

Today is my last day in Hong Kong. Amber and I went to go see the giant buddha and ride the Ngong Ping 360 which is the longest cable car in the world which takes you to the top of the mountain where the temple is at.
[ ] Did any of these things.
The cable car ride is 50 minutes roundtrip and the line to get on the cable car was 2 hours. After waiting an hour in line I concluded we would miss our plane and might get stuck up the mountain waiting 2 hours to get down.
We ended up going to the airport early and using their free wifi.

Nearly 500 steps to the top and literally over 10,000 Buddha statues. It was a good work out to the top and well worth it but unless you like going to the toilet in the ground and cleaning yourself with a bucket I recommend you hold it.
[ ] I went to the bathroom

We rode the Star Ferry from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island to get some nice views of the Hong Kong skyline. At 8pm they did a light and laser show with the buildings

Amber and I went to the Hong Kong History Musuem today which correlated with Free Entry Wednesday. It’s a nice musuem but…it was just a bunch of fake items. Like they made a table and put some fake fish on it that are made out of cheap plastic. Gave up after the first floor and took it easy the rest of the day.

Amber and I took the MTR (which is great btw) to the Wong Tai Sin Temple. Which was a nice temple but no pictures worth posting.
At the end of the night we saw the Chinese New Year fireworks in Tsim Sha Tsui and went to The Spaghetti House for dinner, which had delicious garlic bread and ok spaghetti.

It’s the year of the ox.
We went to the Man Mo Temple which had giant incense burning everywhere. (I really like the photos I took in the temple.)

Afterwards we went to see the Chinese New Year Parade.
[ ] Saw The Chinese New Years Parade
There was a zillion people also trying to watch the Parade so Amber and I gave up after a little while.

You have to take a 5 minute tram/train thingamajig. Everyone rushed on to get seats left Amber and I seatless. The operator lady suggested we get off and wait for the next one (8 minute wait) but decided we could just stand. We’ll let me tell you now do not do this. The tram/train goes up the mountain at like a 80 degree angle we had to lean way foward and hold on to prevent ourselfs from falling.
I want to go back before the end of the trip at night.

Didn’t do much today except a very long nap during the day and checked out Pacific Place, which is a very nice mall in Hong Kong.
We ate at an American style resturant in the mall called Dan Ryan’s Chicago Grill, which i’m 75% sure I might of ate a fish muffin by accident.

I have a question; was this cheeseburger as delicious as I thougt it was? And I have a comment; yes.
