Walking down the street with my wife we hear the same comment over and over.
“You here on your honeymoon?”
Afterwards they start offering us honeymoon specials on whatever goods they are selling. In reality we’re here because it’s a Wednesday.
One thing I can’t stand is someone trying to scam or rip me off. I needed a new pair of fake sunglasses. A guy tells me he will give me a really good price; I take a look at the sunglasses. I ask him how much for a copy Ray-Bans. The guy puts in his calculator 260,000. (About $23 USD) I lol’d because getting a good deal is paying $3 USD.
I already don’t want to buy anything from him because of his opening offer. I explain to him that I’m going to bangkok tomorrow and I can get the same Ray-Bans for 5000 RP there. I tell him thats all I’m willing to pay. He punches in 140,000 in his calculator. I lol’d again and started walking away.
He begged me to stop and buy the sunglasses and even offered them for the price I asked (5000 RP). I lol’d and kept walking and bought them from someone else who didn’t try to scam me into paying 10x the price.

Went to the monkey forest in Ubud, Indonesia. There is literally hundreds of monkies and if you’re holding something they want they are not shy about getting it.
They sold bundles of bananas also and you’re suppose to feed them one by one but one monkey took the entire bundle from Amber and there wasn’t anything we could do about it.

I took out my water bottle and one of the bigger monkies wanted it so I started pouring it in his mouth and gave him the bottle. The monkey dropped the water bottle so I tried to fix it for him and he got angry, showed me his teeth and I had to keep backing up to make him forget about me.
[x] The monkey drinked the rest of the water

Afterwards our driver took us to a restaurant that overlooked an active volcano. This was the view from where we were eating.

Woke up early in the morning and met with our surf instructor. After about 20 minutes of instructions about how to stand up; we went into the ocean to surf. It took a while to get the hang of it but in the end Amber and I were able to catch some waves.
The surf lessons costed RP 800,000 and our private photography costed RP 200,000

After a flight filled with a lot of turbulence, we landed in Singapore and took a taxi to our hotel. We was plesantly surprised when they confirmed it was our honeymoon and told us they upgraded our room.
After taking a short break we took a taxi to Orchard Road which is where everything is at. Once we got out of the taxi I realized the camera was not on my shoulder. I ran down the street to stop the taxi and went into the backseat to get it; the camera was not in the backseat.
Amber and I were dumbfounded, we could not figure out what happen to the camera. The logical answer we came up with was that the taxi guy found the camera and hid it before I stopped the cab or it was still in the hotel.
Needless to say we was freaking out. When we got back to the hotel we opened the door slowly. It wasn’t on the desk, it wasn’t on the chair, it was on the bed.
All that worrying for nothing.

Kuala Lumpur has the largest bird park in the world. Some of the birds are in their cages but most of them are allowed to fly freely . The bird park is basically a large netted dome. The only bird I didn’t see was penguins.

Woke up at 4:30 AM and headed over to Angkor Wat to watch the sunrise. Today happend to be the Equinox. The sun rises directly over the middle tower. (It only happens 4 days a year.)
Unfortunately the clouds prevented us from seeing a great sunrise. Being at Angkor Wat so early in the morning we practically had it to ourselves. On our way out there was heaps of people.

Every nice hotel i’ve been booking on Expedia, I’ve been writing “It’s my honeymoon.” in the special comments field. It already worked for the Santhiya Koh Phangan room.
When We checked into our new hotel in Cambodia we found a fruit platter in the living room, flowers layed on the bed spelling happy honeymoon with a heart, and a bathtub filled with flowers. A few minutes later someone knocked on our door with a happy honeymoon cake.
As long as you fit the role it seems like its always +EV to do this.

[x] AK47
[x] M-16
[x] M-60
[ ] Gernades
[ ] Rocket Launchers
[x] Chickens
[ ] Cows
I was actually a little disapointed when I was told they do not have the rocket launcer or gernades anymore. It also seems like the prices went up they wanted $40 for the AK47 or M16 for one magazine filled with 30 bullets. They wanted $120 for the M60.
The instructor actually asked me if I wanted to shoot a chicken. Obviously I said no thanks.

When he switched the M16 to Fully Automatic it was all over in a second.
Once I finished they tried to upsell me to try the M60 next for $60 but I declined.

Amber and I are both sick.
I called the front desk and asked them if they had a pharmacy nearby, they told me there was one in the nearby village.
I set off to find the medicine.
